I made lemon curd this morning. I wanted to use it in a dessert this evening, I looked up a recipe and decided it looked pretty straight-forward – so I went for it!
There’s one tricky bit, where you need to whisk eggs into warm melted butter, sugar, lemon juice and zest… I may have been blessed with beginner’s luck.
The flavour is much more intense than any lemon curd I’ve bought. I like it!
